I Married the Olive Green.

I didn't grow up in a military family. But the day I married a soldier, I married the uniform too.

The postings. The long separations. The pride that fills your chest during Republic Day parade. The loneliness nobody talks about. The belonging that makes up for all of it.

I became a fauji wife — and slowly, it became the most defining thing about me.

Why I Built This

One evening, while he was away on duty, I went looking for a T-shirt. Something that felt like us — not generic camo prints, but something with soul. Something worth gifting a soldier. Something a patritoic Indian would love to wear. Something an aspirant would wear on the day he finally gets selected.

I couldn't find it. So I made it.
