He chose the sky. He chose the Northeast — one of the most demanding flying sectors in the world — rugged mountains, deep valleys, unpredictable weather, and no room for error. On 13 June 2026, while serving with 43 Squadron at Air Force Station Jorhat, Squadron Leader Prashant Singh made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

Son of an Army veteran. Aviator. Officer.

He flew into storms so the rest of us never had to face them. He served not for recognition, but because it was simply who he was.
